Our office has always been a hodgepodge of whatever hand-me-down furniture we had around the house. It’s never truly been designed from scratch. I had the opportunity this winter to partner with Living Spaces in selecting some new pieces and truly making my office my own, and I’m so grateful to work with them again and to share this room with you!
I’m so excited for this week’s project! I’m building a sliding trash can drawer. We’ve had our trashcan on the end of our island and it’s just to crammed now. So, I decided to convert one of our Nieu kitchen cabinets to a trash can!
My friend found this little ship while thrifting and thought of Charlie. I found a similar ship while thrifting with her a few weeks later! Had to give them a spot in his room
I have white outlets on my navy blue island and it’s always sort of bugged me. My eye always goes right to the outlet and that’s not the focal point of the island! I’m gonna swap them out to match my kitchen hardware.
Today I’m going to touch up our lime wash in the front yard. We just fixed the planter and the brick is covered in overspray from paint and it’s faded over time.
This week, we worked on a small curb appeal project! Remember when I was 9 months pregnant and Jake built this fence? It’s been so nice to have this sectioned off grassy area for Charlie to play. We are finally got around the landscaping the border. It was just dirt for the last few months, so we are planting some olive shrubs and blue fescue.
We made this trip out to celebrate a friend (@comestayawhile) reaching 1 million followers. It was like a giant reunion with so many friends!
